Be Well Dental

A dental site with its text locked inside images and buttons that went nowhere. We rebuilt it with real text, a clear headline, and call and book buttons that work on a phone.

The client
A general dentistry practice.

01

Starting point

  1. 01

The About text and the dentist’s bio were images of text. Search engines and screen readers couldn’t read them, and on phones the words were tiny.

  2. 02

There was no headline. Paragraphs and list items were tagged as headings.

  3. 03

"Our services," "Get in touch" and "Book a consult" just reloaded the homepage. There was no page about treatments.

  4. 04

On phones, the site was a shrunken desktop page. The phone number couldn’t be tapped.

  5. 05

Grey text sat on a greige background, and the buttons were small outlines.

  6. 06

The booking page offered one visit with no context.

  7. 07

The map was an empty grey box, and the social icons linked to Wix’s own pages.

What we changed

  1. Before

The About text and bio were images of text.

    After

All of it is real text, in a clear heading order.

  2. Before

No headline. Headings used out of order.

    After

One headline: "Dental care from people who put your wellbeing first." It sits above two buttons: book an appointment, or call.

  3. Before

Three buttons reloaded the homepage. No services page.

    After

A new Services page. Every button goes where it says.

  4. Before

A shrunken desktop page on phones. The number couldn’t be tapped.

    After

A layout built for phones, with a bar at the bottom of the screen for "Call" and "Book visit".

  5. Before

A thin booking page with one visit and no context.

    After

A three-step booking page: choose a visit, pick a time, add your details. Call and directions sit beside it.

  6. Before

Grey text on greige. Small outlined buttons.

    After

Dark text on a light background. Solid buttons at least 52px tall.

The result

  • A clear headline with two clear actions.
  • Call and book buttons that are easy to tap, and stay on screen as you scroll on a phone.
  • Real text instead of text baked into images.
  • Text that’s easy to read on a phone.
  • Buttons and links that go where they say, with no empty map and no broken social links.
